🍽️ Crunchy Seed Crackers with Hummus

Ingredients
- flaxseeds, whole 150 g
- salt pinch
- salad seed mix 250 g
- olive oil 4 tbsp
- hummus 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
- 2. Boil approx. 0.5 liters of water in a pot or kettle.
- 3. Place the flaxseeds in a bowl and pour the boiling water over them.
- 4. Season with salt and let it rest for approx. 10 minutes.
- 5. Stir the salad seed mix into the flaxseed mixture.
- 6. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 7. Brush the baking paper with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 8. Place the seed cracker mixture onto the tray.
- 9. Spread the mixture thinly and evenly.
- 10. Dot the surface with another 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 11. Sprinkle everything with salt.
- 12. Bake the crackers in the oven for approx. 25 minutes until golden brown.
- 13. Reduce the oven temperature to 175 degrees.
- 14. Continue baking the crackers for another approx. 15 minutes until they are crunchy.
- 15. Let the finished crackers cool down completely on a wire rack.
- 16. Break the cooled crackers into pieces.
- 17. Serve the crackers together with hummus.
