🥗 Salad with Chicken Strips, Croutons, and Parmesan

Ingredients
- Chicken breast fillets 600 g
- Mini Romaine 4 pcs
- Lemons 1 pc
- Garlic cloves 1 pc
- Toast bread 8 slices
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Parmesan, grated 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry, and cut into strips. Cut the lettuce into strips about 2 cm wide, wash thoroughly, and let drain. Wash one lemon, halve it, and squeeze out the juice. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Remove the crusts from the toast bread and cut into cubes.
- 2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Fry the bread cubes in it for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Add the garlic, salt lightly, and let drain on kitchen paper.
- 3. Wipe out the pan and heat 2 tbsp of oil in it again over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips in it for approx. 4 minutes until golden brown, season with salt and pepper, and then remove from the pan. Do not clean the pan.
- 4. Stir the pan drippings with mustard, 2 tbsp of oil, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make a dressing and adjust to taste. Add the Parmesan and lettuce to the dressing and mix well. Arrange on plates and garnish with the chicken strips and croutons. Enjoy your meal!
