  1. 1. Pull off eight leaves from one head of lettuce.
  2. 2. Wash the leaves thoroughly.
  3. 3. Let the water drain well from the leaves.
  4. 4. Split the buns in half.
  5. 5. Spread mayonnaise on the cut surfaces of the buns.
  6. 6. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun.
  7. 7. Place the salami on top of the lettuce leaf.
  8. 8. Place the top half of the bun on top as a lid.
  9. 9. Plate the buns and serve them.
