🥤 Moist Chocolate Cake for a Birthday

Ingredients
- butter 300 g
- eggs 4 pcs.
- sugar 300 g
- milk 150 ml
- wheat flour, Type 405 300 g
- cocoa powder 100 g
- baking powder 0.5 packet
- coating chocolate, semi-sweet 150 g
- whipping cream 400 ml
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Beat soft butter in a bowl with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy.
- 3. Add eggs and sugar alternately to the butter and mix well.
- 4. Stir the milk into the mixture.
- 5. Add flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and stir until you have a smooth batter.
- 6. Pour the batter into a greased baking tray.
- 7. Bake the cake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 8. Roughly chop the chocolate coating in the meantime.
- 9. Warm the cream in a pot over medium heat.
- 10. Let the chopped coating melt in the warm cream.
- 11. Remove the chocolate cream from the heat.
- 12. Let the cream cool down in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 13. Take the chocolate cake out of the oven.
- 14. Let the cake cool completely.
- 15. Cut the cake into squares of about 4 by 4 centimeters.
- 16. Beat the cooled chocolate cream with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy.
- 17. Thinly coat two sides of the chocolate squares with the cream.
- 18. Stack the squares on top of each other as you like.
- 19. Decorate the cake as you like.
- 20. Serve the cake and enjoy it.
