Ingredients
- Vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- Pepper, yellow 2 pcs.
- Onions, red 2 pcs.
- White beans in the can 200 g
- Princess beans, frozen 200 g
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Vegetable broth 100 ml
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Vegan shepherd's delight 150 g
- Oregano, dried 1 tsp
- Farmer's mild bread 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 3. Wash the bell peppers.
- 4. Halve the bell peppers and remove the tough stem and seeds.
- 5. Dice the deseeded bell pepper into small cubes.
- 6. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
- 7. Finely chop the peeled onions.
- 8. Drain the white beans into a colander.
- 9. Rinse the white beans under running water.
- 10. Let the baby beans thaw at room temperature.
- 11. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 12. Fry the diced tomatoes, peppers, and onions for about 3 minutes.
- 13. Stir the tomato paste into the pan.
- 14. Pour in the vegetable broth.
- 15. Add the thawed baby beans to the pan.
- 16. Add the washed white beans.
- 17. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
- 18. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
- 19. Break the vegan Genießerblock into two halves.
- 20. Crumble the block with your hand directly over the pan.
- 21. Sprinkle oregano over it.
- 22. Place the lid on the pan.
- 23. Let the Genießerblock melt slightly for about 2 minutes.
- 24. Serve the farmer's skillet on plates.
- 25. Serve the dish with peasant bread.
