  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
  2. 2. Place 12 paper liners into a muffin tin.
  3. 3. Wash the plums and cut them in half.
  4. 4. Remove the pits from the plum halves.
  5. 5. Cut the plums into thin wedges.
  6. 6. Toss the plums in a bowl with 10 grams of sugar, cinnamon, and the almonds.
  7. 7. Distribute the plum mixture evenly to the bottom of the paper liners.
  8. 8. Add all dry ingredients for the batter into a large mixing bowl.
  9. 9. Add the remaining wet ingredients to the dry mixture.
  10. 10. Stir everything briefly until just combined.
  11. 11. Scoop the batter onto the plums in the liners using an ice cream scoop or spoon.
  12. 12. Bake the muffins for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  13. 13. Perform a toothpick test to check if the muffins are fully baked.
  14. 14. Remove the muffins from the oven as soon as the toothpick comes out clean.
  15. 15. Let the muffins cool in the tin for a moment.
  16. 16. Serve the muffins warm or lukewarm.
