🍰 Red Wine Pears with White Mousse

Ingredients
- Pears 4 pcs.
- Red wine, dry 700 ml
- Sugar 100 g
- Cinnamon stick 1 pcs.
- Cloves 2 pcs.
- Cornstarch 1 tbsp.
- White mousse au chocolate 700 g
- Vanilla crescent cookies 4 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Peel the pears completely.
- 2. Add red wine, sugar, a cinnamon stick, and cloves to a pot.
- 3. Bring the spiced liquid to a boil.
- 4. Reduce the heat to a medium setting.
- 5. Place the pears into the liquid.
- 6. Cook the pears in the liquid for about 15 minutes.
- 7. Turn off the stove.
- 8. Let the pears cool down in the warm liquid.
- 9. Place the pot with the pears and the liquid into the refrigerator.
- 10. Let the pears marinate in the liquid overnight.
- 11. Remove the pears and spices from the liquid before serving.
- 12. Heat 200 milliliters of the liquid in a pot over a medium setting.
- 13. Mix cornstarch with 4 tablespoons of cold liquid in a separate bowl.
- 14. Stir the starch mixture into the heated liquid.
- 15. Bring the red wine sauce to a boil.
- 16. Cook the sauce until it thickens slightly.
- 17. Warm the pears in the sauce if desired.
- 18. Plate the red wine pear on the dishes.
- 19. Drizzle the warm red wine sauce over the pear.
- 20. Place the white mousse next to the pear on the plate.
- 21. Crumble vanilla crescent cookies over the dessert.
- 22. Serve the dish immediately.
