  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the red cabbage under running water.
  2. 2. Cut the head into quarters and remove the hard core in the center.
  3. 3. Cut the leaves into very thin strips or use a grater to shred it.
  4. 4. Place the cut strips into a large bowl.
  5. 5. Season the red cabbage generously with salt.
  6. 6. Knead the vegetable well with your hands until it becomes soft.
  7. 7. Let the prepared mixture stand aside for a moment.
  8. 8. Rinse the carrots under running water.
  9. 9. Peel the carrots completely.
  10. 10. Grate the peeled carrots coarsely.
  11. 11. Peel the oranges completely with a sharp knife.
  12. 12. Remove the white pith layer under the peel as well.
  13. 13. Cut the orange in V-shaped pieces away from the membranes.
  14. 14. Catch the released orange juice in a small bowl.
  15. 15. Add the grated carrots and orange pieces to the red cabbage in the large bowl.
  16. 16. Mix all ingredients well together.
  17. 17. Add yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard, and honey to the mixture.
  18. 18. Pour two tablespoons of the collected orange juice into it.
  19. 19. Season everything with black pepper.
  20. 20. Stir everything thoroughly until a creamy sauce forms.
  21. 21. Taste the slaw one last time to adjust the flavor.
  22. 22. Serve the finished dish immediately.
