  1. 1. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
  2. 2. Cut the onions into thin strips.
  3. 3. Quarter the red cabbage and remove the hard core in the center.
  4. 4. Shred the red cabbage into thin strips.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Fry the onion strips in the pan.
  7. 7. Add the red cabbage strips to the pan.
  8. 8. Fry the red cabbage for about 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Deglaze the vegetables with orange juice.
  10. 10. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  11. 11. Reduce the heat to low.
  12. 12. Simmer the vegetables for about 10 minutes.
  13. 13. Wait until all the liquid has been absorbed.
  14. 14. Add the veggie mix and 2 tablespoons of oil.
  15. 15. Fry the mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  16. 16. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
  17. 17. Add the walnuts to the pan.
  18. 18. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Fill the bowl with the mixture.
  20. 20. Serve the bowl immediately.
