🥤 Fresh Rosemary Lemon Syrup

Ingredients
- rosemary, fresh 40 g
- lemons 1 pc.
- brown sugar 200 g
- water 400 ml
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the rosemary sprigs under running water.
- 2. Roughly chop off the rosemary needles or chop the sprigs.
- 3. Cut the lemon in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the half lemon.
- 5. Add the chopped rosemary, brown sugar, water, and lemon juice to a pot.
- 6. Place the pot on a medium heat setting.
- 7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 8. Reduce the heat slightly and let the syrup simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
- 9. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 10. Pour the warm syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove the rosemary pieces and solids.
- 11. Fill the strained syrup immediately into previously sterilized jars or bottles.
- 12. Seal the containers tightly immediately after filling.
- 13. Store the finished syrup in a cool, dark place until you are ready to use it.
