🍽️ Fresh Roma Salad with Lime Dressing and Crispy Croutons

Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes mix 250 g
- Romaine lettuce 2 pcs
- Organic limes 1 pcs
- Honey 1 tsp
- Olive oil 4 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Ciabatta bread 0.5 pcs
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Parmesan, shaved 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly and cut them in half.
- 2. Cut off the hard stem from the lettuce head.
- 3. Tear the lettuce leaves apart individually.
- 4. Wash the lettuce leaves and let them drain well.
- 5. Cut the lime in half.
- 6. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
- 7. Put 2 tablespoons of lime juice into a small bowl.
- 8. Add 1 teaspoon of honey.
- 9. Whisk the lime juice and honey together well.
- 10. Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 11. Stir until the dressing is creamy and homogeneous.
- 12. Season the dressing with salt to taste.
- 13. Season the dressing with pepper to taste.
- 14. Cut the ciabatta bread into coarse cubes.
- 15. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan.
- 16. Set the heat to medium to high.
- 17. Put the bread cubes into the hot pan.
- 18. Fry the bread cubes for about 3 minutes.
- 19. Take the toasted bread cubes out of the pan.
- 20. Place them on a plate lined with kitchen paper.
- 21. Season the warm bread cubes with a pinch of salt.
- 22. Put the drained lettuce leaves into a large bowl.
- 23. Add the halved cherry tomatoes.
- 24. Pour the prepared lime dressing over the salad.
- 25. Toss everything gently until the salad is evenly coated.
- 26. Arrange the salad on a plate.
- 27. Sprinkle grated parmesan over the salad.
- 28. Distribute the crispy croutons on top.
- 29. Serve the salad immediately and enjoy your meal!
