🍽️ Juicy Beef Flank Steak Fajitas

Ingredients
- Flank Steak 600 g
- Garlic cloves 2 pcs
- Onions, yellow 2 pcs
- Peppers, red 1 pcs
- Organic Limes 3 pcs
- Cilantro, fresh 15 g
- Avocado 1 pcs
- Oil 6 tbsp
- Soy sauce 3 tbsp
- Pepper, sweet 1 tsp
- Chili, ground 1 tsp
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Sugar Pinch
- Wraps 4 pcs
- Sour cream 100 g
- Salt Pinch
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Gouda, grated 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Take the beef flank steak out of the fridge and let it reach room temperature.
- 2. Wash the meat and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely.
- 4. Halve the onions, peel them, and slice them into thin rings.
- 5. Wash the peppers, remove the stem and seeds.
- 6. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 7. Wash two limes.
- 8. Grate about one teaspoon of lime zest.
- 9. Squeeze the juice out of the limes.
- 10. Quarter one lime for garnish.
- 11. Wash the cilantro and shake it dry.
- 12. Pick the cilantro leaves off the stems.
- 13. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
- 14. Scoop the flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
- 15. Cut the avocado into slices.
- 16. In a bowl, mix the lime juice, lime zest, 4 tablespoons of oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, garlic, paprika powder, chili powder, cumin, and sugar.
- 17. Slice the flank steak into pieces about two centimeters thick.
- 18. Place the meat in the spice mixture and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 19. Heat a pan with one tablespoon of oil on high heat.
- 20. Fry the onions and peppers in it for about three minutes on high heat.
- 21. Season the vegetables with one tablespoon of soy sauce.
- 22. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set them aside.
- 23. Do not clean the pan.
- 24. Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan.
- 25. Heat the oil on high heat.
- 26. Let the marinated meat drain.
- 27. Fry the meat in the pan for about seven minutes on all sides.
- 28. Heat a second pan on medium heat.
- 29. Warm the wraps for about one minute on each side.
- 30. Spread crème fraîche on the wraps.
- 31. Season the wraps with salt and pepper.
- 32. Top the wraps with the meat, avocado, cilantro, and cheese as desired.
- 33. Serve the fajitas with the lime wedges.
