  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Mix 6 tablespoons of milk with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla pudding powder in a small bowl.
  3. 3. Bring 500 milliliters of milk to a boil in a pot.
  4. 4. Stir the prepared pudding mixture into the boiling milk.
  5. 5. Let the mixture bubble and cook for about 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  6. 6. Reduce the heat and let the pudding simmer for about 4 minutes until it thickens.
  7. 7. Pour the hot pudding into a shallow dish.
  8. 8. Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming.
  9. 9. Let the pudding cool down completely.
  10. 10. Thoroughly wash the rhubarb and peel it.
  11. 11. Cut the rhubarb into long pieces.
  12. 12. Cook the rhubarb pieces in a pot with apple juice and 60 grams of sugar for about 5 minutes.
  13. 13. Cook the rhubarb until it is almost soft.
  14. 14. Let the cooked rhubarb drain well.
  15. 15. Mix quark, 100 grams of sugar, a pinch of salt, the remaining milk, oil, flour, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  16. 16. Stir the ingredients together to form a smooth dough.
  17. 17. Dust a work surface with flour and roll out the dough to about 3 millimeters thick.
  18. 18. Cut the dough into squares with a side length of about 10 centimeters.
  19. 19. Fold the four corners of each square towards the center.
  20. 20. Place the folded dough pieces side by side on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  21. 21. Place some of the cooled vanilla pudding in the center of the dough pieces.
  22. 22. Distribute some of the drained rhubarb on top of the pudding.
  23. 23. Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
  24. 24. Let the finished pastries cool down slightly.
  25. 25. Dust the pastries with powdered sugar before serving.
