🥗 Crunchy Bagel Salad with Smoked Salmon and Cucumber

Ingredients
- onions, red 1 pc
- vinegar 100 ml
- sugar 3 tbsp
- bagel 1 pc
- mini cucumbers 1 pc
- corn salad 100 g
- chives, fresh 5 g
- cream cheese, plain 150 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- smoked salmon 100 g
- capers 2 tbsp
- olive oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onion and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 3. Warm the vinegar and sugar in a pot until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 4. Pour the warm vinegar-sugar mixture over the onion rings in a bowl.
- 5. Let the onions sit for a few minutes to absorb the flavor.
- 6. Break the bagel into small, irregular pieces by hand.
- 7. Wash the cucumber thoroughly.
- 8. Remove the hard ends of the cucumber.
- 9. Shave the cucumber into thin, long strips using a vegetable peeler.
- 10. Wash the lamb's lettuce and spin it dry.
- 11. Wash the chives and shake them dry.
- 12. Slice the chives into thin rings.
- 13. Spread the cream cheese evenly over a large serving plate.
- 14. Season the cream cheese layer with salt and pepper.
- 15. Arrange the bagel pieces, smoked salmon, and lamb's lettuce on top of the cream cheese.
- 16. Drizzle the salad with a little vinegar and oil.
- 17. Garnish the dish to your liking with the cucumber strips, marinated onion rings, capers, and chives.
