🍰 Port Wine French Toast

Ingredients
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Milk 200 ml
- Honey 1 tsp
- Cinnamon pinch
- Red wine, dry 100 ml
- Baguette 1 pcs.
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Brown sugar 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk them vigorously.
- 2. In a second bowl, mix the milk with the honey, cinnamon, and red wine (preferably Port wine or another sweet red wine).
- 3. Cut the baguette diagonally into slices about 2 centimeters thick.
- 4. Dip the slices briefly into the wine-milk mixture for only 1 to 2 seconds.
- 5. Take the slices directly from the wine mixture and immediately dip them into the beaten eggs.
- 6. Ensure the slices are only moist and not completely soaked through.
- 7. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 8. Fry the baguette slices on both sides for about 2 minutes each until golden brown.
- 9. Mix the cinnamon with the sugar on a plate.
- 10. Roll the finished French toast in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 11. Serve the dishes immediately and enjoy your meal.
