  2. 2. In a second bowl, mix the milk with the honey, cinnamon, and red wine (preferably Port wine or another sweet red wine).
  3. 3. Cut the baguette diagonally into slices about 2 centimeters thick.
  4. 4. Dip the slices briefly into the wine-milk mixture for only 1 to 2 seconds.
  5. 5. Take the slices directly from the wine mixture and immediately dip them into the beaten eggs.
  6. 6. Ensure the slices are only moist and not completely soaked through.
  7. 7. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. 8. Fry the baguette slices on both sides for about 2 minutes each until golden brown.
  9. 9. Mix the cinnamon with the sugar on a plate.
  10. 10. Roll the finished French toast in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  11. 11. Serve the dishes immediately and enjoy your meal.
