Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 240 °C (top/bottom heat). Thoroughly clean the potatoes, bring them to a boil in a pot with salted water, and then cook until tender with the lid on for about 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Pat the turkey meat dry with kitchen paper, season in a medium-sized bowl with 1 tbsp oil, chili, bell pepper, and salt, and set aside for the marinade.
  3. 3. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice. Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Puree finely in a tall container with 1 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Drain the cooked potatoes, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and press them down slightly so they burst but stay together. Sprinkle the Gouda evenly over the potatoes, salt generously, and bake in the upper part of the oven for about 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  5. 5. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over high heat and sear the turkey steaks in it for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Then add the remaining lemon juice to the meat and let it rest covered until serving.
  6. 6. Meanwhile, wash the cilantro, shake off the water, and pluck the leaves from the stems.
  7. 7. Take the cheese potatoes out of the oven, arrange them on plates together with the turkey and the guacamole, and sprinkle with cilantro. Enjoy your meal!
