🍽️ Oven Turkey Cutlets in Creamy Mustard Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- Shallots 3 pcs.
- Sunflower oil 2 tbsp.
- Cream cheese, plain 200 g
- Whipping cream 400 g
- Mustard 50 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Honey 2 tsp.
- Emmentaler block 200 g
- Turkey breast cutlets 600 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Peel the shallots and chop them finely.
- 3. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 4. Add the chopped shallots to the pan.
- 5. Sauté the shallots for three to four minutes until they are soft and translucent.
- 6. Remove the pan from the heat and add cream cheese, cream, and mustard to a separate bowl.
- 7. Mix the sauce ingredients well together.
- 8. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and honey to taste.
- 9. Grate the cheese finely.
- 10. Rinse the turkey cutlets under running water.
- 11. Pat the cutlets dry with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Halve the cutlets crosswise if they are too large for your baking dish.
- 13. Season the turkey cutlets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 14. Place the cutlets on a baking sheet greased with oil.
- 15. Spread the prepared mustard cream evenly over the cutlets.
- 16. Sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top.
- 17. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 18. Bake the cutlets for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
- 19. Remove the tray from the oven and serve the dish hot.
