🍽️ Turkey Rolls with Feta-Sesame Filling

Ingredients
- turkey breast cutlets 600 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- basil, fresh 12 g
- feta 100 g
- sour cream 100 g
- sesame, white 10 g
- oil 1 tbsp
- butter 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Place four wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water and let them soak.
- 2. Rinse the turkey cutlets under running water.
- 3. Dry the cutlets thoroughly with kitchen paper.
- 4. Pound the turkey cutlets flat by working them evenly with a meat mallet or a heavy pot.
- 5. Season the flat cutlets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 6. Wash the basil and dry the leaves well.
- 7. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 8. Crumble the feta into small pieces in a bowl.
- 9. Mix the crumbled feta with the sour cream.
- 10. Spread the feta-cream mixture evenly over the turkey cutlets.
- 11. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the cutlets coated with the filling.
- 12. Place the basil leaves on top of the sesame layer.
- 13. Roll up the cutlets tightly.
- 14. Secure the rolls with the soaked wooden skewers or with toothpicks.
- 15. Heat the oil in a grill pan or regular frying pan over high heat.
- 16. Fry the turkey rolls for about 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 17. Reduce the heat to low to medium.
- 18. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan.
- 19. Finish cooking the rolls with the lid closed for approx. 8 to 10 minutes.
- 20. Turn the rolls regularly during the cooking time.
