🍽️ Turkey Strips with Spätzle

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- white champignons 300 g
- turkey breast cutlets 400 g
- oil 4 tbsp
- vegetable broth 600 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- spätzle 500 g
- lemons 1 pc.
- cornstarch 2 tbsp
- chives, fresh 10 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- peas, frozen 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onions and peel them.
- 2. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a kitchen towel and cut them into quarters.
- 3. Rinse the turkey cutlets and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 4. Cut the turkey into thin strips.
- 5. Add the turkey strips and 2 tablespoons of oil to the mixing bowl.
- 6. Fry the meat for 4 minutes on the frying setting without placing the measuring cup.
- 7. Remove the fried meat from the pot and place it in a bowl.
- 8. Add the onions to the mixing bowl and chop them for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 9. Push the onion residue down from the pot walls with a spatula.
- 10. Add oil and the mushrooms and simmer everything for 3 minutes at 120 degrees on speed 1.
- 11. Add the hot vegetable broth, salt, and pepper to the pot.
- 12. Fill the spätzle into the deep steamer insert.
- 13. Place the steamer insert on the mixing bowl.
- 14. Steam the spätzle for 15 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
- 15. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 16. Stir the cornstarch smooth with a little water in a bowl.
- 17. Wash the chives and shake them dry.
- 18. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 19. Set aside the steamer insert with the spätzle.
- 20. Add cream, the turkey strips, peas, and the mixed cornstarch to the pot.
- 21. Place the steamer insert with the spätzle back on the pot.
- 22. Warm the dish for 5 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1.
- 23. Season the turkey strips with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- 24. Serve the meat together with the spätzle on plates.
- 25. Sprinkle the dish with the cut chive rings.
