🍽️ Turkey Satay Skewers with Potato Wedges

Ingredients
- Turkey breast fillet 600 g
- Potatoes, mostly waxy 1 kg
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Organic limes 1 pc.
- Cilantro, fresh 10 g
- Peanut butter 4 tbsp
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Water 2 tbsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sugar pinch
- Mini romaine 2 pc.
- Peanut kernels 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Place the wooden skewers in a container of water.
- 3. Rinse the turkey meat under running water.
- 4. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Cut the meat into uniform cubes.
- 6. Let the meat come to room temperature.
- 7. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 8. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into quarters.
- 9. Place the potato pieces in a bowl.
- 10. Moisten the potatoes with oil and sprinkle with salt.
- 11. Mix the potatoes well so they are evenly coated.
- 12. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 13. Spread the potatoes out flat on the tray.
- 14. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 15. Bake the potatoes for about 35 minutes until golden brown.
- 16. Turn the potatoes after 15 minutes of baking time.
- 17. Ensure the potatoes become crispy.
- 18. Rinse the lime under running water.
- 19. Cut the lime in half.
- 20. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 21. Wash the coriander.
- 22. Shake the coriander dry.
- 23. Remove the thick stems from the coriander.
- 24. Put one teaspoon of lime juice into a tall container.
- 25. Add one tablespoon of peanut butter.
- 26. Take about one quarter of the coriander.
- 27. Add the coriander to the container.
- 28. Add one teaspoon of soy sauce.
- 29. Add three tablespoons of water.
- 30. Blend the mixture into a smooth sauce.
- 31. Season the sauce with salt.
- 32. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 33. Season the sauce with sugar.
- 34. Take the skewers out of the water.
- 35. Season the turkey cubes with salt.
- 36. Thread the meat cubes evenly onto the skewers.
- 37. Place the skewers in a baking dish.
- 38. Put one tablespoon of peanut sauce into your hands.
- 39. Rub the sauce into the meat with your hands.
- 40. Place the baking dish in the oven.
- 41. Cook the skewers for about 12 minutes.
- 42. Turn the skewers after 6 minutes.
- 43. Cut the romaine lettuce in half.
- 44. Remove the hard core from the lettuce.
- 45. Tear the lettuce into coarse pieces.
- 46. Wash the lettuce pieces.
- 47. Spin the lettuce dry.
- 48. Take the cleaned bowl.
- 49. Put the remaining soy sauce into the bowl.
- 50. Add one teaspoon of lime juice.
- 51. Stir the dressing well.
- 52. Season the dressing with sugar.
- 53. Chop the remaining coriander finely.
- 54. Add the coriander to the bowl.
- 55. Add the lettuce to the bowl.
- 56. Mix everything well together.
- 57. Chop the peanuts coarsely.
- 58. Fold the peanuts into the salad.
- 59. Take the satay skewers out of the oven.
- 60. Take the potatoes out of the oven.
- 61. Plate the skewers.
- 62. Plate the potatoes.
- 63. Add the salad.
- 64. Add the remaining peanut sauce.
- 65. Serve the dish.
