🍽️ Crispy Turkey Strips in Flatbread

Ingredients
- Turkey breast cutlets 500 g
- Lemons 1 pcs
- Garlic cloves 1 pcs
- Peppers, sweet 1 tsp
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Salt Pinch
- Cayenne pepper Pinch
- Vine tomatoes 100 g
- Iceberg lettuce 200 g
- Onions, red 2 pcs
- Avocado 1 pcs
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Pita bread 1 pcs
- sour cream 160 g
- Pepper, mixed Pinch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the turkey breast thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the turkey breast into strips about 1 to 2 cm wide.
- 4. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Mix paprika powder, olive oil, and the lemon juice in a bowl.
- 7. Season the marinade with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
- 8. Add the turkey strips to the marinade and toss them well.
- 9. Let the meat strips marinate for a while.
- 10. Wash the tomato under running water.
- 11. Remove the hard stem area from the tomato.
- 12. Cut the tomato into small cubes.
- 13. Wash the salad greens thoroughly.
- 14. Spin the salad dry, for example in a salad spinner.
- 15. Cut the dry salad into thin strips.
- 16. Peel the onion.
- 17. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 18. Peel the avocado and remove the pit.
- 19. Cut the avocado flesh into coarse cubes.
- 20. Let the marinated turkey strips drain briefly.
- 21. Heat about 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium to high heat.
- 22. Fry the turkey strips in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- 23. Add the onion rings to the meat after about 7 minutes of frying.
- 24. Fry the onions along with the meat for the remaining 3 minutes.
- 25. Slice open the flatbread.
- 26. Top the bread with the prepared ingredients as you like.
- 27. Add a dollop of sour cream to the sandwich.
- 28. Season the dish finally with a little pepper.
- 29. Serve the flatbread immediately and enjoy your meal.
