🍽️ Crispy Fries with BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients
- frozen fries 800 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- pulled pork 500 g
- chili, ground pinch
- brown sugar 5 tbsp
- tomato paste 200 g
- bell pepper, sweet pinch
- cumin pinch
- balsamic vinegar, dark 1 tbsp
- soy sauce 2 tbsp
- cola 50 ml
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- chives, fresh 20 g
- mayonnaise 20 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Place the fries on a baking sheet.
- 3. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of oil over the fries.
- 4. Spread the fries out so they lie in a single layer and do not touch each other.
- 5. Put the tray into the oven.
- 6. Bake the fries for about 25 minutes until they are crispy.
- 7. Turn the fries once after about 15 minutes of baking time.
- 8. Take the finished fries out of the oven and set them aside.
- 9. Place the pulled pork into a baking dish.
- 10. Place the baking dish in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes to heat the meat.
- 11. Take the pulled pork out of the oven and set it aside.
- 12. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 13. Add chili powder to the hot oil and sauté it briefly.
- 14. Add sugar and let it melt for about 1 minute.
- 15. Stir in tomato paste and roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 16. Add paprika powder and cumin.
- 17. Deglaze the mixture with vinegar, soy sauce, and cola.
- 18. Let the sauce simmer for 8 to 10 minutes on low heat until it becomes thick.
- 19. Remove the pot from the heat to let the sauce cool down.
- 20. Season the sauce to taste with salt, pepper, and a little sugar.
- 21. Wash the chives thoroughly.
- 22. Shake the chives dry.
- 23. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 24. Place the fries in a bowl.
- 25. Season the fries with salt and mix them well.
- 26. Place the fries on the plates.
- 27. Distribute the warm pulled pork over the fries.
- 28. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the meat.
- 29. Add a dollop of mayonnaise.
- 30. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped chive rings.
- 31. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal.
