  1. 1. Wash the pears thoroughly, peel, halve, and remove the core. In a pot, bring 200 ml water together with sugar and cinnamon to a boil and cook the pear halves in it for about 10 minutes with the lid on until tender.
  2. 2. In a pot, toast the oats with a little oil over medium heat for about 2 minutes until they start to smell fragrant. Add milk and about 300 ml water and simmer the porridge over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Coarsely chop the walnuts and roast them in a pan without fat over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Drizzle a tablespoon of honey over them, let them caramelize for about 1 minute, then remove the pan from the heat.
  4. 4. Finish the porridge with honey and divide among bowls. Remove the pears from the water and arrange them on top. Sprinkle with the caramelized walnuts and serve. Enjoy your meal!
