  1. 1. Roughly chop the cheese and Parmesan. Put them into the mixing bowl. Crush the ingredients for 8 seconds on speed 8. Make sure the measuring cup is inserted. Empty the bowl and wipe it clean.
  2. 2. Peel the shallots and garlic. Cut the shallots in half. Put both into the mixing bowl. Crush the ingredients for 6 seconds on speed 6. Push the remnants down from the wall with a spatula.
  3. 3. Add 20 milliliters of olive oil. Sauté the shallots and garlic for 2 minutes on speed 1 at 120 degrees. Remove the measuring cup first. Add the chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of salt, sugar, pepper, and Italian herbs. Close the lid. Place the cooking insert as a splash guard on the opening. Cook the tomato sauce for 10 minutes on speed 1 at 120 degrees. Pour the sauce into a bowl and let it cool.

  5. 5. Put the quark, 60 milliliters of oil, an egg, and oregano into the mixing bowl. Stir the mixture for 30 seconds on speed 4. Make sure the measuring cup is inserted. Add the flour, baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Process the ingredients into a dough using the dough kneading function.
  6. 6. Take the dough out of the bowl. Place it on a floured work surface. Knead the dough again with your hands. Work in enough flour until the dough is pliable. Roll the dough out into a rectangle. The dimensions should be 40 by 20 centimeters.

  8. 8. Spread the cooled tomato sauce over the dough. Sprinkle two-thirds of the cheese on top. Top the dough with salami. Roll the dough up from the long side. Cut the roll into 12 slices. A bread knife is best for this. Place the snails into the muffin cups.
