🍕 Pizza Dough Rolls with Mozzarella and Olive Pesto

Ingredients
- Pizza dough XXL 1 pc
- Olives, green 40 g
- Basil, fresh 20 g
- Parmesan 20 g
- Olive oil 6 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Buffalo mozzarella 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Take the pizza dough out of the fridge and let it warm up to room temperature for a short while.
- 3. Drain the olives in a sieve.
- 4. Chop the olives coarsely.
- 5. Wash the basil under running water.
- 6. Shake the basil dry.
- 7. Remove the thick stems from the basil.
- 8. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 9. Put the olives, the basil, the Parmesan, and four tablespoons of olive oil into a tall container.
- 10. Blend the ingredients into a smooth mass.
- 11. Season the pesto with salt at the end.
- 12. Dry the mozzarella with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Tear the mozzarella into coarse pieces.
- 14. Roll out the pizza dough together with the baking paper.
- 15. Spread the olive pesto evenly over the dough.
- 16. Top the dough with the mozzarella pieces.
- 17. Season the roll with pepper.
- 18. Grease a cake or springform pan with one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 19. Roll the dough starting from one long side.
- 20. Cut the roll into pieces about five centimeters wide.
- 21. Place the rolls in the prepared pan with some space between them.
- 22. Drizzle the rolls with a little olive oil.
- 23. Bake the rolls in the oven for about 25 minutes.
- 24. Take the rolls out when they are golden yellow.
- 25. Let the rolls cool down for a short while.
- 26. Serve the pizza bread rolls warm.
