Ingredients
- plum tomatoes 2 pcs.
- basil, fresh 15 g
- walnut kernels 25 g
- puff pastry 1 pcs.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- oregano, dried pinch
- eggs 1 pcs.
- Gouda, grated 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the tomato thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the tomato in half.
- 4. Slice the tomato halves into thin slices.
- 5. Wash the basil leaves.
- 6. Shake the basil dry.
- 7. Gently pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 8. Finely chop the nuts.
- 9. Roll out the puff pastry flat.
- 10. Grab a small bowl to use as a guide.
- 11. Use it to cut out round circles from the dough.
- 12. Place a tomato slice in the center of a dough circle.
- 13. Season the tomato with a pinch of salt.
- 14. Add some pepper.
- 15. Sprinkle oregano over it.
- 16. Slowly fold the dough edges over the tomato.
- 17. Gently press down the overlapping corners.
- 18. Whisk the egg in a separate bowl.
- 19. Brush the dough edges with the whisked egg.
- 20. Sprinkle the chopped nuts onto the egg-brushed edges.
- 21. Distribute the cheese evenly over the surface of the snacks.
- 22. Place the snacks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them.
- 23. Bake the snacks in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 24. Sprinkle the finished snacks with the fresh basil leaves.
- 25. Serve the pizza snacks immediately.
