🍕 Mushroom Pizza with Fresh Herb and Lemon Gremolata

Ingredients
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs
- Gouda, grated 200 g
- garlic cloves 1 pcs
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- basil, fresh 20 g
- lemons 1 pcs
- olive oil 5 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mushrooms, white 400 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Place the pizza doughs on baking trays lined with baking paper.
- 3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the doughs.
- 4. Sprinkle the pizzas generously with Gouda cheese.
- 5. Bake the pizzas for 14 to 16 minutes.
- 6. Swap the position of the baking trays in the oven after 7 minutes.
- 7. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 8. Wash the herbs and dry them thoroughly.
- 9. Remove any thick stems from the herbs.
- 10. Chop the herbs finely as well.
- 11. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
- 12. Grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
- 13. Mix garlic, herbs, lemon zest, and four tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl.
- 14. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 15. Wipe the mushrooms with a kitchen towel if necessary.
- 16. Slice the mushrooms.
- 17. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 18. Fry the mushroom slices for about five minutes.
- 19. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper.
- 20. Take the pizza out of the oven.
- 21. Top the pizza with the fried mushrooms.
- 22. Add the gremolata to the pizza as desired.
