🍕 Fennel Pizza with Fresh Tomato Dip

Ingredients
- fennel 2 pcs.
- olive oil 4 tbsp.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs.
- sour cream 200 g
- garlic cloves 1 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 40 g
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the fennel thoroughly.
- 3. Cut out the hard base at the bottom of the fennel.
- 4. Set aside the green fennel fronds for later.
- 5. Slice the fennel bulb into very thin slices or rings.
- 6. Place the fennel slices into a bowl.
- 7. Add two tablespoons of olive oil.
- 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9. Mix everything well and let the fennel slices marinate for five minutes.
- 10. Take the pizza doughs out of the packaging.
- 11. Place the doughs along with the baking paper onto two separate baking sheets.
- 12. Get the sour cream container ready.
- 13. Season the sour cream in the container with salt and pepper.
- 14. Stir the sour cream well until the seasoning is distributed.
- 15. Spread the sour cream evenly over both pizza doughs.
- 16. Distribute the marinated fennel slices over the sour cream.
- 17. Place the baking sheets into the oven.
- 18. Place one tray on the middle rack and the other on the lower rack.
- 19. Bake the pizzas for a total of twenty minutes.
- 20. Swap the positions of the two baking sheets in the oven after ten minutes.
- 21. Peel a clove of garlic.
- 22. Chop the garlic very finely.
- 23. Wash the parsley.
- 24. Shake the parsley dry.
- 25. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 26. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- 27. Wash the tomatoes.
- 28. Cut the tomatoes into very small cubes.
- 29. Finely chop the reserved fennel fronds.
- 30. Place the chopped garlic into a clean bowl.
- 31. Add the chopped parsley.
- 32. Add the chopped fennel fronds.
- 33. Add the tomato cubes.
- 34. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl.
- 35. Add a little sugar.
- 36. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 37. Mix all ingredients for the salsa well.
- 38. Let the salsa sit for a short time so the flavors can meld.
- 39. Take the finished pizzas out of the oven.
- 40. Spread the tomato-parsley salsa over the hot pizzas.
- 41. Cut the pizzas into small pieces.
- 42. Serve the Pizza Bianca immediately.
