🍕 Tuna Pizza with Onions

Ingredients
- onions, red 2 pcs.
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- olive oil 2 tbsp.
- tomatoes, pureed 250 g
- red wine, dry 50 ml
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar 1 tsp.
- tuna in its own juice 510 g
- mozzarella 2 pcs.
- olives, green 125 g
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the onions in half and peel off the skin.
- 3. Slice half of the onions into thin strips.
- 4. Dice the remaining half of the onions into small cubes.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot over medium to high heat.
- 7. Sauté the onion cubes and garlic for about 2 minutes until they become soft and translucent.
- 8. Deglaze the pot with pureed tomatoes and wine.
- 9. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 10. Let the sauce simmer for approximately 5 minutes.
- 11. Place the tuna in a colander and let it drain well.
- 12. Pat the mozzarella dry with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Tear the mozzarella into small pieces.
- 14. Drain the olives.
- 15. Cut the olives in half.
- 16. Place the pizza bases on baking sheets.
- 17. Spread the prepared sauce thinly over the pizzas.
- 18. Distribute the mozzarella evenly over the pizzas.
- 19. Place the tuna, olives, and onion rings on top of the pizzas.
- 20. Bake the pizzas one after the other for about 15 minutes in the oven.
