🍕 Crispy Pita Pizza with Cream Cheese

Ingredients
- spring onions 1 bunch
- tomatoes, dried 100 g
- olives, green 80 g
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- cream cheese, plain 200 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- pita bread 4 pcs.
- Gouda, grated 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the spring onions.
- 3. Cut off the hard root ends of the spring onions.
- 4. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 5. Place the tomatoes and olives in a sieve.
- 6. Let the excess water drain well from the tomatoes and olives.
- 7. Finely chop the drained tomatoes and olives.
- 8. Peel the garlic clove.
- 9. Mince the garlic very finely or press it through a garlic press.
- 10. Add the spring onions, tomatoes, olives, and garlic to a bowl.
- 11. Add the cream cheese to the vegetable mixture.
- 12. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 13. Season the cream to taste with salt and pepper.
- 14. Carefully slice the pita breads horizontally into two halves.
- 15. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the cut surfaces of the pita breads.
- 16. Place the topped pita breads on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- 17. Spread the Gouda cheese evenly over the pita breads.
- 18. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 19. Bake the pizzas for about 15 minutes.
- 20. Remove the pita pizzas from the oven when the cheese is golden brown and crispy.
- 21. Serve the pizzas immediately while hot.
