  3. 3. Cut off the hard root ends of the spring onions.
  4. 4. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  5. 5. Place the tomatoes and olives in a sieve.
  6. 6. Let the excess water drain well from the tomatoes and olives.
  7. 7. Finely chop the drained tomatoes and olives.
  8. 8. Peel the garlic clove.
  9. 9. Mince the garlic very finely or press it through a garlic press.
  10. 10. Add the spring onions, tomatoes, olives, and garlic to a bowl.
  11. 11. Add the cream cheese to the vegetable mixture.
  12. 12. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
  13. 13. Season the cream to taste with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Carefully slice the pita breads horizontally into two halves.
  15. 15. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the cut surfaces of the pita breads.
