  8. 8. Reduce the heat to low.
  9. 9. Cook the plums for about ten minutes until very soft.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
  11. 11. Let the plum compote cool down completely.
  12. 12. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
  13. 13. Add the walnuts to the dry pan.
  14. 14. Roast the nuts for about two minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the walnuts from the pan.
  16. 16. Let the walnuts cool down.
  17. 17. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
  18. 18. Put the cream in a pot.
  19. 19. Bring the cream to a boil.
