  2. 2. Rinse the plums under running water.
  3. 3. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
  4. 4. Dice the plum flesh into small cubes.
  5. 5. Thoroughly wash and dry the orange.
  6. 6. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the orange peel.
  7. 7. Place the soft butter, sugar, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
  8. 8. Beat the mixture until creamy using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment.
  9. 9. Add the eggs to the butter-sugar mixture.
  10. 10. Continue stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  11. 11. Stir in the orange marmalade briefly.
  12. 12. Add the flour and baking powder.
  13. 13. Mix the ingredients briefly until incorporated.
  14. 14. Add the diced plums to the batter.
  15. 15. Add the grated orange peel.
  16. 16. Gently fold in the plums and the peel without overworking the batter.
  17. 17. Grease a 22-centimeter diameter Bundt cake pan thoroughly.
