🍰 Juicy Plum Bundt Cake

Ingredients
- Plums 500 g
- Oranges 1 pcs
- Butter 250 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Salt pinch
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Orange Marmalade 80 g
- Wheat Flour, Type 405 400 g
- Baking Powder 2 tsp
- Icing Sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Rinse the plums under running water.
- 3. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
- 4. Dice the plum flesh into small cubes.
- 5. Thoroughly wash and dry the orange.
- 6. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the orange peel.
- 7. Place the soft butter, sugar, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
- 8. Beat the mixture until creamy using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment.
- 9. Add the eggs to the butter-sugar mixture.
- 10. Continue stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- 11. Stir in the orange marmalade briefly.
- 12. Add the flour and baking powder.
- 13. Mix the ingredients briefly until incorporated.
- 14. Add the diced plums to the batter.
- 15. Add the grated orange peel.
- 16. Gently fold in the plums and the peel without overworking the batter.
- 17. Grease a 22-centimeter diameter Bundt cake pan thoroughly.
- 18. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- 19. Bake the cake in the oven for about 50 to 60 minutes.
- 20. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
- 21. Carefully turn the cake out of the pan once it has cooled.
- 22. Dust the finished cake with powdered sugar.
- 23. Serve the cake and enjoy it.
