🍰 Yogurt with Warm Plum and Fig Compote

Ingredients
- Plums 600 g
- Figs 4 pc.
- Oranges 1 pc.
- Brown sugar 2 tbsp
- Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- Cornstarch 1 tsp
- Walnut kernels 4 tbsp
- Sour cream-style yogurt 400 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the plums under running water.
- 2. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
- 3. Wash the figs.
- 4. Cut the figs into small cubes.
- 5. Wash the orange thoroughly with hot water.
- 6. Grate about one teaspoon of the orange peel.
- 7. Cut the orange in half.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
- 9. Place the plums, figs, sugar, vanilla sugar, orange juice, and orange peel into a pot.
- 10. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 11. Simmer the compote for about five to seven minutes until soft.
- 12. Whisk the starch in a small bowl with a little water until dissolved.
- 13. Stir the starch mixture into the compote.
- 14. Simmer the compote for about one minute until it thickens slightly.
- 15. Let the compote cool down.
- 16. Heat a pan over medium heat.
- 17. Toast the walnuts in the pan for about two minutes without adding fat.
- 18. Let the walnuts cool down.
- 19. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
- 20. Divide the yogurt among several bowls.
- 21. Spoon the compote over the yogurt.
- 22. Stir the compote gently into the yogurt.
- 23. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the dish.
- 24. Serve the compote immediately.
