🍰 Juicy Plum Sheet Cake

Ingredients
- milk 250 ml
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- sugar 110 g
- butter 50 g
- salt pinch
- eggs 1 pcs
- wheat flour, type 405 500 g
- plums 2 kg
- cinnamon 0.25 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Warm 250 milliliters of milk in a pot for about one minute until it is lukewarm.
- 2. Crumble the yeast into the warm milk and stir in one tablespoon of sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
- 3. Cover the pot and let the yeast milk rest in a warm place for ten minutes.
- 4. Pour the yeast milk into a bowl and add 50 grams of sugar, butter, salt, an egg, and the flour.
- 5. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 6. Cover the dough and let it rise for one hour until it has doubled in size.
- 7. Thoroughly wash the plums under running water.
- 8. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 10. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- 11. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Arrange the plums closely next to each other on the dough.
- 13. Let the topped cake rise for another ten minutes.
- 14. Sprinkle the plums with five tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
- 15. Bake the cake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
- 16. Take the cake out of the oven and serve it lukewarm.
