🍽️ Plum-Pear Chutney

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 3 pcs.
- ginger, fresh 50 g
- plums 500 g
- pears 500 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- allspice 0.25 tsp
- sugar 200 g
- vinegar 150 ml
Instructions
- 1. Halve, peel, and slice the onions. Peel and finely chop the ginger. Wash the plums, halve, pit, and dice them. Peel, core, and also dice the pears.
- 2. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat and sauté the onions with ginger for about 2 minutes. Add the plums and stir-fry for about 3 minutes. Add salt, allspice, sugar, and vinegar, then simmer on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
- 3. Taste the plum-pear chutney and pour it hot into clean jars. Seal tightly and let cool; this way, the chutney will stay good for several days.
