🍰 Vegan Plum Crumble with Oat Crust

Ingredients
- plums 1 kg
- vanilla extract 2 tsp
- oranges 1 pc
- cornstarch 40 g
- brown sugar 80 g
- vegan butter alternative 100 g
- sugar 100 g
- salt pinch
- wheat flour, Type 405 170 g
- baking powder 0.5 tsp
- oats, fine 30 g
- oat drink 100 ml
- powdered sugar 15 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Pit the plums and cut them into large wedges.
- 3. Place the plum wedges into a baking dish.
- 4. Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract, the juice and zest of one orange, starch, and 50 grams of brown sugar to the plums.
- 5. Mix the plums thoroughly with the spices and sugar.
- 6. Beat vegan butter, sugar, salt, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until creamy.
- 7. Add flour, baking powder, oat flakes, and plant-based milk to the butter mixture.
- 8. Stir the dough only until all ingredients are well combined.
- 9. Distribute the dough evenly over the plums using an ice cream scoop or spoons.
- 10. Sprinkle 30 grams of brown sugar over the dough.
- 11. Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- 12. Dust the finished crumble with powdered sugar after baking.
- 13. Serve the plum crumble warm or cold as you like.
