  4. 4. Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract, the juice and zest of one orange, starch, and 50 grams of brown sugar to the plums.
  5. 5. Mix the plums thoroughly with the spices and sugar.
  6. 6. Beat vegan butter, sugar, salt, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  7. 7. Add flour, baking powder, oat flakes, and plant-based milk to the butter mixture.
  8. 8. Stir the dough only until all ingredients are well combined.
  9. 9. Distribute the dough evenly over the plums using an ice cream scoop or spoons.
  10. 10. Sprinkle 30 grams of brown sugar over the dough.
  11. 11. Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  12. 12. Dust the finished crumble with powdered sugar after baking.
  13. 13. Serve the plum crumble warm or cold as you like.
