🥤 Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients
- Peaches 500 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Water 1.25 L
- Lemons 1 pcs
- Mint, fresh 10 g
- Ice cubes 150 g
- Black tea 4 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peaches thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the peaches and remove the pits.
- 3. Cut the fruit into wedges.
- 4. Place the peach wedges, sugar, and 250 milliliters of water in a pot.
- 5. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it boils.
- 6. Let the peaches simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- 7. Pour the liquid through a sieve into a bowl to separate the peaches.
- 8. Let the peach syrup cool down.
- 9. Wash the lemon under running water.
- 10. Grate about one teaspoon of lemon zest finely.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 12. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
- 13. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil.
- 14. Place half of the mint, the black tea, and the lemon zest in a bowl.
- 15. Pour the boiling water over the ingredients.
- 16. Let the tea steep for about 6 minutes.
- 17. Mix the cooled tea with the peach syrup.
- 18. Add the remaining mint and ice cubes to the tea.
- 19. Season the iced tea with sugar and lemon juice to taste.
- 20. Serve the peach iced tea immediately.
