  1. 1. Wash the peaches thoroughly.
  2. 2. Halve the peaches and remove the pits.
  3. 3. Cut the fruit into wedges.
  4. 4. Place the peach wedges, sugar, and 250 milliliters of water in a pot.
  5. 5. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it boils.
  6. 6. Let the peaches simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Pour the liquid through a sieve into a bowl to separate the peaches.
  8. 8. Let the peach syrup cool down.
  9. 9. Wash the lemon under running water.
  10. 10. Grate about one teaspoon of lemon zest finely.
  11. 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  12. 12. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
  13. 13. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil.
  14. 14. Place half of the mint, the black tea, and the lemon zest in a bowl.
  15. 15. Pour the boiling water over the ingredients.
  16. 16. Let the tea steep for about 6 minutes.
  17. 17. Mix the cooled tea with the peach syrup.
  18. 18. Add the remaining mint and ice cubes to the tea.
  19. 19. Season the iced tea with sugar and lemon juice to taste.
  20. 20. Serve the peach iced tea immediately.
