  3. 3. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs.
  4. 4. Place the cream cheese mixture in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  5. 5. Finely chop the walnuts.
  6. 6. Mix the chopped walnuts with pepper on a deep plate.
  7. 7. Halve the pretzel sticks.
  8. 8. Wash the redcurrants.
  9. 9. Carefully strip the redcurrants from the stems.
  10. 10. Rub your hands with a little oil.
  11. 11. Shape about 8 balls from the chilled cream cheese mixture.
  12. 12. Roll the cream cheese balls in the nut-pepper mixture.
  13. 13. Press the balls down slightly.
  14. 14. Press 2 redcurrants into each ball to form eyes.
