  4. 4. Stir until the batter is smooth and slightly thick.
  5. 5. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Pour a ladle of batter into the hot pan.
  7. 7. Tilt the pan to spread the batter evenly.
  8. 8. Cook the pancake for about one to two minutes until golden brown.
  9. 9. Carefully flip the pancake once it releases from the bottom.
  10. 10. Cook the other side for about thirty seconds.
  11. 11. Remove the finished pancake from the pan.
  12. 12. Repeat the steps with the remaining batter.
  13. 13. Place the pancakes on the plates.
  14. 14. Spread them with jam as desired.
  15. 15. Sprinkle powdered sugar over them.
  16. 16. Serve the pancakes immediately.
