🍽️ Pan-fried Chicken Skewers with Oven Fries and Spicy Yellow Pepper Salsa

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 1 kg
- oil 4 tbsp
- salt pinch
- bell peppers 2 pcs
- onions, yellow 1 pcs
- spring onions 1 bunch
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- rose paprika 1 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- bacon 10 slices
- peppers, yellow 2 pcs
- shallots 1 pcs
- mustard 10 g
- parsley, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan circulation.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 3. Peel the potatoes.
- 4. Cut the potatoes into sticks about 1 cm wide.
- 5. Place the potato sticks in a bowl.
- 6. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and salt.
- 7. Mix everything well.
- 8. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet.
- 9. Bake the fries for about 30 minutes.
- 10. Turn the fries once after 20 minutes.
- 11. Wash the pointed peppers.
- 12. Halve the peppers.
- 13. Remove the stem and seeds.
- 14. Cut the peppers into strips about 1 cm wide.
- 15. Peel the onion.
- 16. Halve the onion.
- 17. Slice the onion into thin slices.
- 18. Wash the white part of the spring onions.
- 19. Dry the spring onions.
- 20. Cut the spring onions diagonally into strips about 1 cm wide.
- 21. Wash the chicken meat.
- 22. Pat the meat dry.
- 23. Cut the meat into 2 cm cubes.
- 24. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 25. Cut the bacon into 3 cm pieces.
- 26. Fry the bacon for 1 minute.
- 27. Add the onion and continue frying.
- 28. Add the peppers.
- 29. Add the meat.
- 30. Add the spring onions.
- 31. Season with paprika powder.
- 32. Season with salt.
- 33. Season with pepper.
- 34. Cook everything for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 35. Turn off the stove.
- 36. Cover the pan.
- 37. Let the dish rest.
- 38. Wash the yellow pepper.
- 39. Remove the stem and seeds.
- 40. Cut the yellow pepper into 2 cm cubes.
- 41. Place the pepper cubes in a tall container.
- 42. Quarter the shallot.
- 43. Add the shallot to the pepper.
- 44. Add 1 tablespoon of oil.
- 45. Add mustard.
- 46. Blend the mixture finely with a hand blender.
- 47. Season the salsa with salt and pepper.
- 48. Wash the parsley.
- 49. Shake the parsley dry.
- 50. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 51. Chop the parsley finely.
- 52. Season the oven fries with salt.
- 53. Plate the fries.
- 54. Plate the pan skewers.
- 55. Sprinkle everything with parsley.
- 56. Serve the salsa on the side.
