  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them.
  3. 3. Cut the carrots into lengthwise quarters.
  4. 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and distribute the carrots on it.
  5. 5. Add 3 tablespoons of oil over the carrots.
  6. 6. Season the carrots with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Cook the carrots in the oven for about 26 to 28 minutes.
  8. 8. Chop the dates roughly and set them aside.
  9. 9. Rinse the dill and pluck the leaves from the stems.
  10. 10. Wash the cucumber and cut it into rough pieces of about 1 cm.
  11. 11. Put the cucumber, dill and yogurt in a tall container.
  12. 12. Puree the mixture with a hand blender.
  13. 13. Season the cucumber cream with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Set the cucumber cream aside.
  15. 15. Rinse the turkey meat and pat it dry.
  16. 16. Season the turkey meat.
  17. 17. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan strongly.
  18. 18. Fry the turkey meat for approx. 2 minutes on both sides.
  19. 19. Halve the lime.
  20. 20. Squeeze the juice of the lime.
  21. 21. Add half of the lime juice to the meat.
  22. 22. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  23. 23. Put the turkey meat together with the carrots in the oven.
  24. 24. Halve the onion and peel it.
  25. 25. Cut the onion into thin half-moons of approx. 0.5 cm thick.
  26. 26. Heat olive oil in the same pan.
  27. 27. Roast the onions, dates and pumpkin seeds with a little sugar over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
  28. 28. Deglaze the pan with the remaining lime juice.
  29. 29. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  30. 30. Take the carrots and the turkey meat out of the oven.
  31. 31. Arrange the meat and carrots on plates.
  32. 32. Distribute the onions, pumpkin seeds and dates on top.
  33. 33. Serve the cucumber cream in bowls.
