🍽️ Pepper-Kiwi Relish

Ingredients
- pepper, red 4 pcs
- celery stalks 125 g
- kiwi 6 pcs
- onions, yellow 5 pcs
- vinegar 500 ml
- salt 2 tsp
- pepper, white ground pinch
- brown sugar 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise.
- 3. Remove the stems and seeds from the pepper halves.
- 4. Clean the celery stalks.
- 5. Cut off the root ends from the celery.
- 6. Halve the kiwis.
- 7. Scoop the kiwi flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
- 8. Cut the onions in half.
- 9. Peel the skin off the onions.
- 10. Dice all prepared ingredients into small, even pieces.
- 11. Warm the vinegar in a pot over medium heat.
- 12. Add the diced ingredients to the pot.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt.
- 14. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 15. Season the mixture with sugar.
- 16. Simmer the relish covered on low heat for about 40 minutes.
- 17. Rinse the jars (250 ml) with hot water.
- 18. Dry the jars thoroughly.
- 19. Fill the hot relish into the jars up to the rim.
- 20. Seal the jars tightly.
- 21. Let the jars cool down.
