  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). In a mixing bowl, beat the soft butter with a hand mixer until fluffy. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs, and mix everything well until a creamy consistency forms.
  2. 2. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and milk to the bowl and mix until the dough is smooth. Divide the dough evenly into three bowls and color each with a different food coloring.
  3. 3. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Place the colorful dough in spoonfuls on the sheet. Smooth the surface slightly and bake the cake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
  4. 4. While the cake is baking, halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice. In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar with 5 tbsp lemon juice.
  5. 5. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for a short while. Spread the icing evenly over the cake and decorate with sugar pearls or sprinkles if desired. Enjoy your meal!
