🍰 Crispy Chocolate Croissants

Ingredients
- puff pastry 1 pc.
- chocolate, dark 80 g
- soy yogurt vanilla 4 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Take the puff pastry out of the packaging and roll it out flat.
- 3. Cut the dough into four equal, long strips.
- 4. Break the chocolate bars into eight small pieces.
- 5. Take one dough strip and place one piece of chocolate on each of the short ends.
- 6. Make sure to leave about one centimeter of space from the edge.
- 7. Fold the two long dough edges over the chocolate.
- 8. Roll the dough in from both sides towards the center.
- 9. Press the ends slightly to keep the chocolate inside.
- 10. Repeat this process with the remaining three dough strips.
- 11. Place the finished pastries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Ensure that the seam (the split) is facing downwards.
- 13. Brush the tops of the pastries with vanilla soy yogurt.
- 14. Bake the pastries for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 15. Let the pain au chocolat cool down briefly on the tray.
- 16. Serve the pastries warm and enjoy!
