  1. 1. Rinse a lemon under hot water.
  2. 2. Finely grate the lemon zest.
  3. 3. Squeeze the lemon juice.
  4. 4. Beat butter, sugar, salt, and eggs in a bowl until creamy.
  5. 5. Add the lemon juice and zest to the butter mixture.
  6. 6. Mix the ingredients well together.
  7. 7. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  8. 8. Knead the flour mixture into the butter mixture.
  9. 9. Store the dough in the refrigerator for about one hour.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  11. 11. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
  12. 12. Roll out the dough in portions to a thickness of approx. 5 mm.
  13. 13. Cut out Easter shapes from the dough.
  14. 14. Poke holes for hanging into the cookies or insert wooden skewers from the bottom.
  15. 15. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  16. 16. Bake the cookies in the oven for approx. 12 to 15 minutes.
  17. 17. Take the cookies out of the oven when the edges are golden yellow.
  18. 18. Let the cookies cool down.
  19. 19. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl.
  20. 20. Stir the powdered sugar smooth with a little water.
  21. 21. Fill the glaze into a freezer bag.
  22. 22. Cut off a small corner of the freezer bag.
  23. 23. Decorate the cooled cookies with the glaze.
