  3. 3. Cut the chili pepper in half and remove the seeds.
  4. 4. Place the onion, garlic, and chili pepper into the mixing container.
  5. 5. Chop the ingredients for 4 seconds on speed 8.
  6. 6. Add the oil.
  7. 7. Sauté the mixture for 2 minutes on the sauté setting.
  8. 8. Add the lentils, vegetable broth, chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  9. 9. Cook the soup for 20 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on speed 2.
  10. 10. Meanwhile, cut the lemon into wedges.
  11. 11. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
  12. 12. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
  13. 13. Puree the finished soup for 30 seconds on speed 8.
  14. 14. Pour the soup into small bowls.
  15. 15. Garnish the soup with the parsley and lemon wedges.
