Ingredients
- Vine tomatoes 4 pcs.
- Onions, yellow 1 pcs.
- bulgur 100 g
- Pine nuts 25 g
- Raisins 40 g
- Salt pinch
- Peppers, red 2 pcs.
- Peppers, yellow 2 pcs.
- feta 200 g
- Mint, fresh 20 g
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Cucumbers 1 pcs.
- sour cream 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Cut a small cross into the bottom of each tomato.
- 3. Pour 500 milliliters of water into the mixing container.
- 4. Place the tomatoes in the steam cooking basket.
- 5. Place the basket on the container and close the lid.
- 6. Steam the tomatoes for 3 minutes on level 1.
- 7. Remove the tomatoes once the skin starts to peel off.
- 8. Peel the tomatoes and cut them in half.
- 9. Remove the seeds and chop the flesh into small cubes.
- 10. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 11. Chop the onion in the empty mixing container for 6 seconds on level 6.
- 12. Remove the onion and mix it with bulgur, pine nuts, and raisins in the cooking insert.
- 13. Lightly salt the mixture.
- 14. Return the mixture to the mixing container.
- 15. Add just enough water to cover the bulgur.
- 16. Cook the mixture for about 12 minutes on level 1 at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 17. Extend the cooking time by 3 to 5 minutes if the bulgur has not swollen yet.
- 18. Wash the peppers and cut them in half.
- 19. Remove the inside of the pepper halves.
- 20. Crumble the feta cheese roughly with your hands.
- 21. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
- 22. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
- 23. Cut the mint leaves into fine strips.
- 24. Remove the bulgur from the cooking insert.
- 25. Mix the bulgur in a bowl with the tomato cubes, feta, and mint.
- 26. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.
- 27. Fill the pepper halves with the mixture.
- 28. Fill 1 liter of water into the mixing container.
- 29. Place the steam cooking basket on the container.
- 30. Place the stuffed peppers into the basket.
- 31. Close the lid.
- 32. Steam the peppers for 30 minutes on level 2.
- 33. Remove the peppers and keep them warm.
- 34. Empty the mixing container and wipe it clean.
- 35. Wash the cucumber and peel it.
- 36. Chop the cucumber roughly.
- 37. Put the cucumber and sour cream into the mixing container.
- 38. Chop the mixture for 8 seconds on level 5.
- 39. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 40. Serve the sauce with the stuffed peppers.
