🍰 Orange Sorbet with Whiskey

Ingredients
- Oranges 8 pcs
- sugar 150 g
- water 75 ml
- whiskey 20 ml
Instructions
- 1. Wash the oranges thoroughly under hot water and grate about one teaspoon of zest from three of them. Then halve the oranges and squeeze out about 600 ml of juice.
- 2. Bring sugar, water, and the grated orange zest to a boil in a pot and simmer for about one minute. Let the syrup cool, then strain it and mix well with the orange juice and whiskey.
- 3. Pour the liquid into a shallow dish and let it freeze in the freezer for at least four hours. Stir well with a fork after about one hour and then every 30 minutes to break up the ice crystals.
- 4. Serve the orange sorbet with whiskey in portions and garnish with fresh fruits and mint if desired. Enjoy your meal!
