🍰 Orange Almond Cake

Ingredients
- Oranges 3 pcs
- Butter 200 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Eggs 5 pcs
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Almonds, ground 100 g
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Crème fraîche 200 g
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Rinse the oranges thoroughly, grate about 2 tsp of zest finely, halve them, and squeeze out the juice.
- 2. In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar using a hand mixer until fluffy. Add the eggs one by one and mix well. Add the flour, almonds, and baking powder and fold in gently. Finally, mix in the orange zest and 100 ml orange juice.
- 3. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and bake the cake in the oven for about 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- 4. In a bowl, stir the crème fraîche until smooth. Add the icing sugar and 2 tbsp orange juice and mix well.
- 5. Take the orange cake with almonds out of the oven, let it cool, release it from the springform pan, and serve with the cream. Enjoy your meal!
