🍰 Juicy Orange Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
- Chocolate, dark 200 g
- butter 200 g
- Oranges 2 pcs
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Powdered sugar 200 g
- Salt pinch
- Wheat flour, Type 405 75 g
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Cocoa powder 3 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Bring about 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
- 3. Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- 4. Place the chocolate pieces and the butter in a heatproof bowl.
- 5. Place the bowl over the pot with the hot water, ensuring it does not touch the bottom.
- 6. Let the chocolate and butter melt slowly in the hot steam.
- 7. Remove the bowl from the pot and let the chocolate mixture cool down briefly.
- 8. Wash the oranges thoroughly under running water.
- 9. Grate about one teaspoon of the orange peel finely.
- 10. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, the grated orange peel, and a pinch of salt to a large mixing bowl.
- 11. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer and a whisk until the mixture is light and thickly creamy.
- 12. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg-sugar mixture.
- 13. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a small bowl.
- 14. Stir the flour mixture into the chocolate batter briefly until just combined.
- 15. Line a baking pan of approximately 18 by 25 centimeters with baking paper.
- 16. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- 17. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
- 18. Check the brownies: the surface should be firm, but the inside should still remain slightly soft.
- 19. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about one hour.
- 20. Carefully turn the brownies out onto a wire rack.
- 21. Let the brownies cool completely.
- 22. Generously dust the cooled brownies with cocoa powder.
- 23. Cut the brownies into small cubes.
- 24. Serve the brownies and enjoy!
